You know I like reading your blog, and I keep up with it fairly regularly. I'm enjoying the whole "Christians and non-violence" conversation. It's something I've working on figuring out over the last few years. I appreciate your willingness to challenge some widely held assumptions in the church while doing so in a respectful tone. In appealing to the early church fathers on this issue (which is a good approach I think.) it brings up another question about another recent topic on the blog: What did the early church fathers have to say about homosexuality? Considering that many younger Christians seem unclear on this issue, your thoughts would be appreciated. Beyond the verses on the subject (which seem very anti-homosexuality when I read them), it seems that the early church leaders and their thoughts would be valuable in seeing this issue more clearly. Any thoughts?
